Traveling has always been a love of mine. My inspiration comes from the people around me, the objects I encounter on a daily basis, and the things that make me happy in life.

New York, New York the city that never sleeps, The Big Apple, Gotham, or the center of the universe whichever name you want to use to describe this bustling highly populated city is worth a visit by all at least two times in your life.

It gives you so much to do and see in just this one city area alone. Boredom is not an option here. This is a place where you come to live, build your social standing, discovery yourself, be entertainment on Broadway, try to make it on Wall Street, see amazing iconic landmarks and structures plus so much more.

New York City has five boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and The Bronx. As well as famous neighborhoods that some might mistake for a city or another borough like Harlem a neighborhood in Manhattan, The Upper East Side, The Upper West Side, Midtown, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side, SoHo, Little Italy, Tribeca, Long Island, Bushwick, or Williamsburg to name a few.

New York City Lights Up

When you think of New York the first things that usually come to mind are the State of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Wall Street, and seeing a Broadway show. Yet, those are just a few special things that New York City has to offer to see.

You must check out Central Park with its lake, pond, reservoir, great statutes, the literary walk, great lawn, Shakespeare garden, Wollman rink, zoo, and so much more.

Another stop on your visit should be the iconic Brooklyn Bridge whether driving across it or taking the walkway from Brooklyn to Manhattan or vice versa. Taking in the view of the East River along your route.

Heading to Midtown Manhattan then stop at the Rockefeller Center facing Fifth Avenue to see all the gorgeous art décor, do the tour if it’s your first time there, skate or watch others at the ice rink, and if your there during Christmas time the lighting of the tree is a beautiful sight to see.

A great place to visit for an amazing art display is The Metropolitan Museum of Art known as the Met with art spanning the globe over its 22 curatorial departments.

Another must see place is the One World Trade Center. It has an observatory deck for viewing all the spectacular NYC beauty in awe as well as remembering all that they have been through.

Looking for an amusement park type fun then Coney Island is the place to be in Brooklyn. This place is more seasonal when it comes to all the events and when and how long the rides stay open. Enjoy a walk on the boardwalk though, lay out on the beach, eat, shop, and mingle for a full day of engaging activities.

While a visit to NYC is not complete without stopping by the famous Times Square an entertainment center from Broadway and Seventh expanding to West 42nd Street.
